Students learning about the new portfolio system will be asked to complete a "test"assignmentwhich is includedin the login directions. PDF / MS Word

Artifact Requirement and Assessment
All students are expected to submit ten artifacts and ten corresponding reflections into their portfolio each year. It is recommended that this minimum requirement be met by adding two artifacts from each core academic subject each year. Students should submit one artifact from minor subjects.

Qualitative Assessment:
Using content specific rubrics and school-wide learning expectations rubrics created by the faculty, content area teachers will determine the quality of the projects to be saved in the portfolio. Each project must be proficient or exemplary on the school-wide targeted achievement rubric in order to be considered "portfolio worthy."

Quantitative Assessment
Teachers will visually access a student's portfolio to ensure that the required components are completed and saved in the portfolio. This assessment will determine if the student has met the annual requirement by uploading ten artifacts and ten reflections in the portfolio. Based on this quantitative assessment, students will receive a grade of Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory for portfolio at the end of the year.
